Sleep Disordered Breathing and Sleep Apnea

Sleep: it’s about one third of your life, and vital to your health. And The ENT Center can help you make the most of it.

From chronic congestion to tonsil or adenoid problems to excessive soft-palate tissue, a variety of nose or throat issues can affect the quality of sleep. Snoring or frequent awakening at night are among the more visible symptoms that can appear, but sometimes the symptoms may be less obvious. You may simply be tired throughout a typical day, even after what seems like an adequate amount of sleep.

Could you or someone you care about have sleep apnea? Experts often characterize this as an under-recognized, under-diagnosed condition?

At The ENT Center, we can help you find answers by:

  • Physically examining your nose and throat
  • Referring you for a sleep study or other forms of testing
  • Recommending a variety of treatments ranging from continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) devices to surgical procedures
